What's on and coming up...

Here's what's happening in our creative space, the Sail Loft, and the NaviStitch shop on Manningtree High Street over the coming weeks...

In the Sail Loft...

We can't believe that there's just 2 weeks of our Spring Exhibition left - if you can get to our NaviStitch Shop on Manningtree High Street between now and 13th April, we'd love you to see around 50 local artists and their huge variety of work all in one place.

Here's the entire collection of artists, although most of them have several pieces in our exhibition. We have paintings by oil, watercolour and acrylic artists; we have collage and charcoal works; we have ceramics, glass and textile art. We have lots of unframed pieces in browsers for your perusal too.

If choose an unframed piece of art from our exhibition or shop, or if you have a piece of artwork at home that you'd like framed, we now offer a framing service via Nick Holyman Framing.

On a Thursday, Friday and Saturday we offer drop in consultations - they can also be arranged at other times by appointment. Read more about this new service

Next up....

From 16th to 27th April we're delighted to bring a joint exhibition from two quite different artists: Loueen Morrison: with her floral oil paintings; and Susan Keeble: working in acrylics, watercolours and ceramics. In our next newsletter, we'll introduce you to other exhibitions that we've got in our Sail Loft in the coming months. To keep an eye on all new shows, take a look at our calendar.

If you're an artist or maker and are interested in hiring the Sail Loft for an exhibition, workshop or pop-up event, take a look at details of our space and how to book. We welcome established artists as well as emerging talent if you've not exhibited before, we can introduce you to others who may wish to collaborate. We also offer display materials to help you. Take a look at our calendar and remember that, even if we've got an exhibition advertised, we have two rooms and so it's still worth enquiring. The bonus, with both rooms being occupied, is that you both bring a new audience to each other's work.

In other news...

If you're a gift shop or a seller of greeting cards , I now have a wholesale website just for you.

My many ranges of greeting cards come in multiples of 6 and you have the option of biodegradable cello or without. You'll need to register for an account as it's a retailer-only site

I also have a I have a great digital catalogue ready to send to anyone who may like to become a stockist. Drop me a line and I'll send one over.

And finally...

If you're out and about in Felixstowe any time soon, you can see a display of my art and a selection of greeting cards at Felixstowe Museum until mid-July.

And don't forget, if you can't get to the NaviStitch shop or this gorgeous seaside town - take a look online for my nautical stitched art and cards.

So, it just remains for me to say a Happy Easter, or bank holiday - if you're celebrating with chocolate, I'm with you!

Until next time, I wish you calm waters and plain sailing

Sam
