Who's Your Valentine?

It's February and it's the month of LOVE! Who's going to be your Valentine?

There are less than two weeks to go until the day that you show someone just how oarsome they are! Call in and see us when you can - we've got plenty of cards and gifts to help, and we've also got pre-loved art, our own nautical stitched art and we've got present ideas galore too - whatever floats the boat of whoever floats yours!. If you can't make it to the NaviStitch shop on Manningtree High Street, there's still time to order cards online, from my website shop, or from Etsy - take a look - some of them can be personalised with the name of your Valentine too.

The Sail Loft...

From now until 11th February our Sail Loft is full of pre-loved art. Here's are just some of the pieces that have been brought in by people that have no space for them, have fallen out of love with them or, for whatever reason, want to pass them on to someone else.

We've got originals in watercolour, oil, acrylic, we have some relief prints and limited edition artists prints. Come and bag yourself (or a lucky friend), a bargain - every piece tells a story.

And then...

We're delighted that our Sail Loft calendar is beginning to get busy, busy with lots of exciting exhibitions and events! We've still got some dates in May and June if you're thinking of putting on an exhibition or a pop-up event.

We love our returning artists but we also love welcoming new creatives into our fold - especially new artists and emerging young talent - take a look at the dates we have free, and then at how easy it is to book.

Shouting out...

We're excited to be hosting a Spring exhibition in our Sail Loft from 4th March through to 1st April, and we'd love to hear from you if you're a local artist and would like to take part.

Our Summer Vibes exhibition last year was a huge success and we'd like to offer space to lots of our community's finest artists this Spring. You may be an established artist, you may be just starting out - we're very keen to support new artists and so this may be the perfect opportunity to get your work out there for everyone to see. You've got until 18th February to get your applications in - find out more and apply here.

In other NaviStitch news...

I'm busy working on more nautical stitched art and greeting cards for the NaviStitch shop and for my various stockists around the country and further afield. If you're a coastal retailer or a gift shop selling nautical themed wares, I'd love to chat to you about stocking some of my work - we've partnered with Faire for wholesale orders and, if you join today, you can get £100 off and 1 year of free shipping.

I'm also busy working on pieces of art that people have commissioned, but I've always got room for more! If you want to give someone a personalised gift, why not consider a piece of nautical stitched art? For anyone with a nautical bent, with coastal memories, or just a love of the sea, sailing or a place that they hold dear, I can find a chart from my extensive collection and we can take it from there - take a look at how easy it is.

We look forward to seeing old friends and new over the coming weeks. Until next time, I wish you calm waters and plain sailing

Sam
