There’s a real sense of seasonal shift at NaviStitch at the moment - one exhibition in full flow, another just around the corner, and spring quietly gathering momentum.
Here’s what’s happening in the shop, the Sail Loft Gallery and beyond over the coming weeks.
🎨 Anne Plummer | Now Showing

Anne Plummer’s exhibition continues in the Sail Loft Gallery for the next two weeks.
Anne is a highly accomplished photo-realist painter and a long-standing friend of NaviStitch. Her work brings a beautiful stillness and precision into the space - a lovely contrast to the changing light outside as we move towards spring.
If you haven’t visited yet, there’s still time. The gallery is open Wednesday–Saturday, 10am–4pm.
🌸 Spring Exhibition 2026
📅 14 March–11 April🥂 Preview Evening: Friday 13 March, 5pm–8pm
The Sail Loft Gallery will soon be transformed again for our Spring Exhibition - always one of the most uplifting moments in the calendar. And we’ll be hosting a Preview Evening on Friday 13 March, 5–8pm: Free entry, all welcome, and a chance to meet the artists and enjoy the first look at this year’s selected work.
This year’s exhibition features a wonderful mix of returning favourites - artists who have exhibited with us before - alongside a number of exciting new names to the Sail Loft Gallery. There’s some fantastic new work coming in from all of them, and I’m really looking forward to sharing it with you. Over the coming weeks, I’ll be introducing each of the artists properly so you can get to know the people behind the work before the exhibition opens. It’s shaping up to be a vibrant and varied show - a real celebration of creative energy as we head into spring.
🌍 Wild Sewing – First Drop Now Live
The first drop of my Wild Sewing pieces is now available via my personal website.
For those who haven’t come across it yet, the Wild Sewing Project explores paper embroidery created outside traditional studio spaces - sewn in restaurants, outdoors, while travelling… and even on a frozen lake.
Each finished piece includes a QR code linking to a YouTube video showing where it was sewn “in the wild” - connecting process and place in a new way.
It’s been an exciting direction for my stitched work, and I’m curious to see where it leads next.
⏳ Last Chance - 10% Launch Discount

The 10% launch discount on samluxford.com runs until the end of this month (that's Saturday!).
The site brings together my stitched artwork, books and wider creative projects under the Sam Luxford name - while workshops and gallery bookings continue through NaviStitch.
If you’ve been meaning to take a look, now is a good moment.
🖼 Framing, Commissions & Fresh Starts
With new exhibitions on the horizon, it’s often a time when people start thinking about their own walls. Whether that’s framing a newly purchased piece, refreshing something you already own, or commissioning something entirely personal - I’m always happy to talk ideas through.
Commissions remain at the heart of what I do. Translating places, memories and stories into stitched pieces is still one of the most rewarding parts of this creative journey. Don't forget we also offer bespoke framing.
💌 Thank You
As always, thank you for continuing to visit, follow, support and share.
There’s something special about this time of year - exhibitions changing, light shifting, new work arriving. I’m looking forward to welcoming you into the gallery soon, whether for Anne’s exhibition, the Spring preview evening or into the NaviStitch shop.
Calm waters and plain sailing,
Sam
