Can you believe that we're over half way through our Pre-Loved Art Sale?!

We've had a few new pieces submitted: a horse-racing framed print and 2 aviation-style works - an original watercolour of a Vulcan Bomber, and a Hercules print.

🏷️ Don't forget we've also got a 50% off sale of all Nordic glass upstairs too!

Come and give pre-loved art some new love - it's all here until 10th February

🖼️ Buyers - find something unusual, rare, or bag yourself a bargain - all work is original art or numbered, limited edition prints.

⭐ 13th to 24th February we've digital art from Heimdall

⭐ 28th February to 9th March we've got Anne Plummer back with us - she's bringing her startling realistic marble paintings along with some of her becalmed barges and boats.

⭐ After our Spring Exhibition, from 17th to 27th April we've got two artists doing a collaborative exhibition, and who are new to our Sail Loft: Susan Keeble is bringing her paintings and ceramics; Loueen Morrison, her paintings - we know you'll welcome them both to our creative space.

Graphic calling out for artists to apply for the Spring Exhibition

Here's a shout-out to local artists for our Mixed Spring Exhibition! Whether you're a seasoned exhibitor or if you'd like to make this your first, we'd love to hear from you. If you're thinking of taking part, we've put together some information and an application form. You've got until Saturday 2nd March to get your applications in!

In the NaviStitch shop...
Two picture frames showing carved birds from artist Jayson Fletcher

Artist Jayson Fletcher has brought in two new pieces of work which you'll see when you visit. A beautiful swan and an east coast oyster catcher. As always, Jayson's work is created from reclaimed timber and looks great against our brick walls ... how great would it look in your home? You're welcome to come and see for yourself - we've certainly got a packed shop and Sail Loft at the moment!

And finally...

Red graphic with pink hearts advising that Valentine's day is less than 2 weeks away

It's just under 2 weeks until you old romantics can show the person in your life all the love!

Don't forget to order your card in plenty of time:

Search the rest of the online shop for a piece of nautical stitched art as a gift, or call into the NaviStitch shop for present ideas to suit your loved one!

Photography of the inside of the Lord Nelson Pub, Ipswich, with NaviStitch nautical stitched, framed art on the walls

We popped over to The Lord Nelson in Ipswich last week as they've sold a few pictures that I have on display, and for sale, and topped up the wall. Always a great excuse for a fantastic Sunday roast too! Surely it counts as a subsistence expense?!

To find a list of other stockists of my nautical stitched art, or greeting cards, take a look here and, if you are a gift shop or seaside store and would like to stock my cards, we're just working on a new wholesaler website. In the meantime, take a look here.

If you're an artist or maker and are interested in hiring the Sail Loft for an exhibition, workshop or pop-up event, take a look at details of our space and how to book.

Until next time, I wish you calm waters and plain sailing

Sam
