There are countless reasons to visit the wonderfully creative town of Manningtree – and here’s another one!

On 5th July, the next Pop-Up Market will take place in the old Barclays Bank, bursting with local talent and handmade treasures.

Why not make a day of it? Enjoy lunch at one of our fantastic cafés, pubs, or restaurants. Explore the vibrant High Street, filled with unique independent shops. Take a relaxing stroll along the river, treat yourself to an ice cream, and soak up the charm of this special town.

A new commission just completed, this one is further afield than usual.

The dot in the centre of the heart marks Tampere in Finland where the couple got married. Tampere wasn't marked on the chart so I plotted the co-ordinates and marked the spot which has been stitched in the middle of the heart.

What a lovely way to make sure to never forget your wedding anniversary.

Until next time...

As always, I'm in the NaviStitch shop most days - call in and see me, or get in touch if you fancy chatting about exhibiting, about nautical stitched commissions, about bespoke framing, or if you just fancy a chat!

I wish you calm waters and plain sailing.

Sam
