This Chistmas card workshop with Sam Luxford starts with an introduction to the techniques of hand embroidery on paper and some simple watercolour techniques. Combining the mini paintings with stitched elements and optionally pen and bead work to produce 6 Christmas designs. Mounted onto A6 cards with a festive greeting with envelopes you will have 6 cards to take away with you. There is a lot to cover in this session so you may need to finish some at home but you will have the knowledge and materials to do so.  Also included is a starter kit to take away with you to continue to enjoy paper embroidery when you get home. (Starter kit contains cork board. 4 tapestry needles, needle threader, Pricking tool and threads).
 
We will take a 45 minute lunch break part way through the day. Lunch is not provided but you are welcome to bring a packed lunch with you or Manningtree has lots of cafe or take away businesses where you can grab a bite to eat.
 
Please be aware that our workshop space is upstairs and our stairs are fairly steep, but there are handrails both sides. Tea and Coffee Included.
 
Cancellation Policy - Cancellations with more than 30 days notice will be refunded or rebooked for another date. Cancellations with less than 30 days notice can only be refunded or rescheduled if we can find another student to take your place.
