What's on and coming up...

Here's what's happening in our creative space, the Sail Loft, above the NaviStitch shop on Manningtree High Street over the coming weeks...

The NaviStitch shop full of makers products

In the Sail Loft...

Our Christmas Pop-up shop is open for business! After a hugely successful preview event on Friday, we opened our doors on Saturday morning and have been welcoming people into our display of over 30 local artists and makers' festive wares ever since.

We're now open 7 days a week up until 23rd December:

  • Monday to Saturday 10am-5pm

  • Sundays 11am-3pm

  • 27th-30th December 10am-4pm

We are an absolute one-stop-Christmas-shop - from calendars to ceramics, from knits to acrylics, from totes to jewellery ... and everything else besides. We'd love to see you - remember to bring plenty of bags and friends!

In Manningtree...

Next Saturday it's Manningtree's Christmas Market and Entertainment Extravaganza.

For England's smallest town, we sure do pack a punch - there will be so much going on between 3pm and 8:30pm - genuinely something for everyone.

Don't forget to call in and see us if you come along - we'll be open until 9pm so come along and say hello.

In other news...

Great news! I'm delighted to have been asked back to sell my own greeting cards and art in Fenwick in Colchester from 4th to 17th December. I'm really looking forward to returning to Fenwick - it's a great opportunity to bring my work to a new audience.

And finally...

Before the NaviStitch shop, I was a full-time artist, helping people to make maritime memories with my nautical stitched art. Now that I have the shop and Sail Loft gallery, I still enjoy working on bespoke pieces of personal art that bring back thoughts of special times. This commission was created using the customer's own well-use maritime chart and now shows Flisca, the boat it was used on. It's simple to to commission a piece of personal art - take a look at how easy it is.

Until next time, I wish you calm waters and plain sailing

Sam
