Feeling Festive: Our Final Newsletter Before Christmas

Well, we're just days away from the big day, here's what's happening in our creative space, the Sail Loft, and the NaviStitch shop on Manningtree High Street over the next couple of weeks...

Frosty Christmas scene wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a happy new year

In the Sail Loft...
A shot of some of the things for sale in the NaviStitch Christmas Pop-up

We're open until 5pm on Saturday and, thanks to you, our Christmas pop-up shop has been a huge success. Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day we'll be putting our feet up, eating all the turkey and mince pies and pulling all the crackers.

If you've got Christmas money, or have new year gifts to buy, we'll be open between festivities: 27th-30th December 10am-4pm...

... and then we're taking a well-earned annual holiday. Just like last year, the NaviStitch shop will be closed until 20th January to allow all of our artists and makers to collect what's left of their amazing work; to let us clear the shop in readiness for our next event, and to allow us to put our feet up and take a bit of time away.

What's next?

From Wednesday 24th January, through to Saturday 10th February, we're holding our second Pre-loved Art Sale. Whilst we're away, you'll have nearly three weeks to dig out any pre-loved art, ready to enter it into our sale.

You may enter up to 5 pieces of original or numbered, limited-edition prints into our pre-loved sale - pieces must be delivered to us on Saturday 20th January. Here's the application form

This will be a fantastic opportunity to purchase something rare, something unusual, something affordable - a total bargain!

In other news...

We'd like to say a huge THANK YOU to Fenwick in Colchester for hosting my pop-up shop. All of the Fenwick team were so helpful and supportive and were an absolute pleasure to work with. I have had lovely feedback from the Fenwick customers especially those that remember me from my previous pop-ups in the store, and I'm absolutely delighted with the number of pieces of my work that are finding their way to new homes this Christmas. The simple words 'Thank you' hardly seem enough. The most enormous thank you also to those of you who came and shopped at Fenwick - it was lovely to see familiar faces and to meet so many new customers. It would be great to see you in our NaviStitch shop sometime in the new year. To find out what exhibitions and events we've got going on in our Sail Loft creative space upstairs, take a look here - you could always plan your visit around what we've got going on.

And finally...

It just remains for me to say a huge Happy New Year to all of you!

We've loved every second of our 2023 voyage and we're looking forward to sailing into 2024 with so much excitement. We've got lots planned and, once we're back on 20th January, it's full steam ahead.

Until next time, I wish you calm waters and plain sailing

Sam
